These terms apply to the EMBER website and dev blog, operated by EMBER development team. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

Development information

EMBER is in development. Screenshots, articles, features, supported devices, release plans, and gameplay details may change. Posts describe development at the time they are published; they are not promises of a particular release date or final feature set.

Playtest signup

The signup list records interest in testing. Signing up does not guarantee an invitation, access, a release date, payment, or a free copy of the finished game. No purchase or payment is taken through this website. An invitation may include separate testing requirements and terms, which you can review before participating.

Acceptable use

Use accurate contact information that you are entitled to provide. Do not submit another person’s email without permission, send abusive or unlawful material, attempt to access the private editor without authorization, interfere with the site, or use automated submissions to overload it.

Website content and feedback

EMBER’s original text, artwork, game footage, and other materials are protected by intellectual property law. Third-party names and materials belong to their respective owners. You may link to the site and share links to its posts. Any further use must be permitted by law or the relevant rights holder.

You retain rights in feedback you send us. You permit us to read and use that feedback to develop and improve EMBER, without an obligation to implement it or compensate you unless we separately agree otherwise. Do not send confidential material or content you do not have permission to share.

External services

Links to Apple, TestFlight, or other external services are subject to those services’ own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and operation are outside our control. The privacy policy explains how this website handles information.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it may contain errors or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
